My name is Elin and I am a 26 year old girl from Sweden. Originally, I am from the small town Strömstad on the west coast, with which I still have a strong connection since my parents and relatives still live there. I go there every summer and during Christmas to enjoy the quietness, the sea and to spend time with family and friends.
For the past six years I have resided in Stockholm. I moved here to start my university level education, and also because I wanted to learn how to live on my own and be self-sustaining.
I spend a lot of my spare time with my friends, and I try to travel whenever possible. My main destinations so far have been cities in Europe but I also made a safari trip to Kenya and a volunteer trip to Zambia, which was incredible. I hope to go on a lot more trips the coming years! Next to travelling I also take an interest in languages and music.
Besides that, I like to run and work out to keep fit and motivated. In 2014, I ran four races, where the main goal was to run 30km at the 50th edition of Lidingöloppet, which is the biggest cross-country race in the world. To prepare for this race I followed a training program that my dad made for me. Following his routine, I reached my goal.
