The main task in this project was to construct a go-kart in focus–driven teams comprised of six students each. My task, together with another student, was to construct the drivetrain, where the main challenges were to dimension the gear and the centrifugal clutch to satisfy given requirements. I did all the CAD work for this project and worked on the dimensioning together with my partner. This made me more skilled in using SolidEdge, and improved my understanding of how a gear and centrifugal clutch work.
