For part of the first and second year of my masters I was a part of a so called higher course project, which was one of the building blocks for my master. We did the project in cooperation with Ericsson, and the task was to further develop a feeder gasket of theirs to keep dust and water out of their radio cabinets. The focus was on improving usability, lowering the installation time and passing an IP55 test. All requirements were fulfilled. The project team consisted of 12 members, all with different responsibility areas which shifted two times. My three areas were, in cronological order: Testing, Visualising and Design. I learned how to work in big teams, got a deeper knowledge in the softwares Keyshot, SolidEdge and ANSYS Workbench, and of course knowledge about the topic at hand.
